In a sawhorse, hinges are the most fragiles parts and don't be easy to fix when broken. During a week, we try to find a new sustainable and easy system to improve the sawhorse.

We tried two differents concepts: The first was to create two shapes that fit together, and the second was to replace hinges and metallics parts by straps and wood buckles.

 

So we create Earl, a simple sawhorse, which can be made in any fablab, and assembled without tools. Besides this particularity, Earl can also be adjusted in height , by adapting the straps size.
